Heat Exchangers for Biomass Heating Systems

HC Coils manufacture Heating Coils and Industrial Fan Coil Products for the Biomass Heating Industries working in partnership with Biomass Boiler Installers.

Biomass Fuels are now widely used for agricultural crop drying systems, wood drying, poultry production, commercial and domestic heating systems. Biomass offers a low carbon, sustainable and renewable fuel which is a long term alternative to fossil fuels.

Heating Coils are designed for each application, using our highly efficient coil configuration to heat air, using hot water from the Biomass Boiler. Coils can be made to almost any size or in multiple modules for large installations. The coils can be mounted in ductwork or attached to the customer equipment. Industrial Fan Coil Products are offered which provide a complete fan and coil solution for Biomass Heating Systems.

Biomass is biological material derived from living, or recently living organisms. In the context of biomass for energy this was often used to indicate plant based material, but Biomass can equally apply to both animal and/or vegetable derived material.

As an energy source, Biomass can either be used directly via combustion to produce heat, or indirectly after converting it to various forms of biofuel.

Fan Coil Products with aerofoil fans are typically used for Poultry Sheds, workshops and industrial buildings. Crop and Wood Drying Applications have a requirement for High Pressure Fans where we provide highly efficient AC Plug Fans which are inverter speed controlled. These are configured for a 'blow through' arrangement to protect the motor from the high air temperatures with air pressure typically 1000 Pa for high density drying products.

We design, build, and configure our Biomass Heating Coils and Industrial Fan Coil Products at our advanced manufacturing facilities in Fareham, Hampshire, UK, under stringent quality controls.
