    This project involved replacing an existing cooling tower system with modern dry air cooler technology. The client was looking to reduce ongoing maintenance costs associated with the cooling tower while achieving equivalent or better cooling performance.

    HC Coils designed and manufactured four stainless steel tube ten-metre dry air coolers with a combined total cooling load of 3,000 kW. The use of stainless steel tubes ensures long-term durability and corrosion resistance in this demanding application.

    EC fans were specified across all four units, delivering further energy savings and reduced noise levels compared to the previous system. The switch from cooling tower to dry air cooler technology eliminated the need for water treatment, Legionella risk assessments, and the significant annual maintenance costs that come with evaporative systems.

    The result was a cleaner, more efficient and lower-maintenance cooling solution that will serve the client for years to come.
