Heat Exchangers for Biomass Heating Systems

Heating Coils are designed for each application, using our highly efficient coil configuration to heat air, using hot water from the Biomass Boiler. Coils can be made to almost any size or in multiple modules for large installations. The coils can be mounted in ductwork or attached to the customer equipment. Industrial Fan Coil Products are offered which provide a complete fan and coil solution for Biomass Heating Systems.

Biomass is biological material derived from living, or recently living organisms. In the context of biomass for energy this was often used to indicate plant based material, but Biomass can equally apply to both animal and/or vegetable derived material.

Biomass is carbon based and is composed of a mixture of organic molecules. These normally contain hydrogen, usually include atoms of oxygen, often nitrogen and also small quantities of other atoms, including alkali, alkaline earth and heavy metals.

As an energy source, Biomass can either be used directly via combustion to produce heat, or indirectly after converting it to various forms of biofuel.

Fan Coil Products with aerofoil fans are typically used for Poultry Sheds, workshops and industrial buildings. Crop and Wood Drying Applications have a requirement for High Pressure Fans where we provide highly efficient AC Plug Fans which are inverter speed controlled. These are configured for a ‘blow through’ arrangement to protect the motor from the high air temperatures with air pressure typically 1000 Pa for high density drying products.
