The Role:

With nearly 40 years’ experience, we are one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of heat exchange products. Due to continued business growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and hard-working candidate for the position of factory operative.

The main purpose of this role will be to fabricate bespoke heat exchangers efficiently by closely following CAD layout drawings and using a variety of machinery and hand tools. You will report to and follow instructions from the Production Management team and will be required to work effectively within a team environment. You will be expected to work safely at all times and notify the Production Management team of any health and safety concerns.

You will ideally have previous experience of working within a factory environment; however, previous knowledge of heat exchanger fabrication is not essential. Knowledge of working with machinery and hand tools would be advantageous. You will be educated to a minimum GCSE level or equivalent and must have awareness of Health and Safety policy and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Fabricating and constructing high quality heat exchangers.
Following CAD layout drawings closely.
Operating machinery and hand tools, following suitable training.
Working safely at all times.
Working effectively in a team environment.
Maintaining high levels of housekeeping at all times within factory.
